Publication Requirements for M.Sc.(Thesis):

  1. An English article related to the thesis content must have been published, accepted, or revised in journals indexed by Science (WoS) SCIE/SSCI and within the Q1–Q2 impact factor range in terms of Journal Impact Factor (JIF) or Journal Citation Indicator (JCI)*, or
  2. An English article related to the thesis content must have been published, accepted, or revised in journals indexed by WoS or Scopus, approved by the relevant Department Head and the Director of the Graduate School, or
  3. An English article related to the thesis content must have been under peer review in journals indexed by WoS or Scopus, approved by the relevant Department Head and the Director of the Graduate School; in this case, the Department Head and the Director of the Graduate School must also review the article and decide that it is suitable, or
  4. An English conference paper related to the thesis content must have been published or accepted at a peer-reviewed conference that is indexed as a conference paper by WoS or Scopus.
  5. An English conference paper related to the thesis content must have been published or accepted at other international conferences, as deemed appropriate by the Department head.

*For journals requiring payment to be used in this evaluation, the journal in question must be among the journals considered in the University's annual, periodic, and promotion evaluations. Journals not included in this list may only be accepted exceptionally with the written approval of the Director of the Graduate School.
