ERC 2026 Advanced Grant Call Opened!

Dear Faculty Members,

The European Research Council (ERC) funds frontier research projects and the scientists who will carry them out, evaluating them solely on the criterion of scientific excellence. The Advanced Grant (AdG) call aims to support frontier research projects with high-risk/high-gain potential that push the boundaries of science, led by experienced researchers who are independent research leaders with significant scientific achievements in their fields.

Additionally, by applying to the ERC Principal Investigator Development Program (EBAG) developed by TÜBİTAK, researchers can receive project writing and presentation training, project pre-evaluation support, and interview training support.

Project Duration: Up to 5 years

Project Budget: Up to €2.5 million per project. (An additional €1 million in funding can be requested for reasons such as major equipment purchases or large-scale fieldwork.)

Call Deadline: August 27, 2026

EBAG Application Deadline: July 13, 2026

The deadline for applications has been set as August 27, 2026. Academics interested in applying are expected to contact the TTO (Technology Transfer Office) for application planning and coordination.
